 | As pet owner I know how hard it is to get photos of your pets. So I decided to pursue my career in photography by specialising in animal photography. I love all animals, and willing to get to know animals I'm not used to being around. I am happy to accommodate for all budgets, big or small. I am also happy to accommodate rescues and charities too. I have taken pictures for a variety of clients, including: The Mayhew Animal Home STA Ferret Rescue and donated various photoshoots to online auctions to raise funds for ferret rescues. My name is Claire, I have currently have a degree in Forensic Science, Forensic science?!! you might all be thinking, but I will tell you why. I decided to go into Forensic Science at university because I wanted to become a crime scene photographer. But soon realised animals were my passion I decided to point myself in a different direction. I decided by the end of my course I wanted to be an animal/wildlife photographer. Since deciding that, I have taken many photos, of different animals, self teaching myself with new cameras and techniques. In September I am going to university to complete my masters in Biological Imaging and Photography.
What do I want to achieve?
Ok... so there are many things I want to achieve... like complete my masters in Biological imaging and photography... win Dog photographer of the year... win wildlife photographer of the year... umm.. and a few others, but for now...
I would like to achieve a good client base, who would recommend me to their friends and family. I would like to challenge myself to create new ways of capturing animals, and their emotions.
How am I going to achieve it?
Ok.. so I need your help to help me achieve my goals.
No matter how big or small your animal is, I will photograph it. If it is something I haven't done before then I will try!
